Connecticut ColdFusion User Group - October meeting

MAX is the premier Adobe event, held annually. This year it was held in Chicago, which Ron Hiner and I attended.
Previously, Ron and I have both attended MacroMedia events, but this is the first Adobe event we attended. We posted some notes on the site about sessions we attended, but we'd like to give a higher level view of what's going on, and update on some new announcements made by Adobe at the conference.
Without a doubt, the landscape is changing - the line between "developers" and "designers" is blurring. How badly would a designer like to take a photoshop comp and create a fully functional Flex app? That's not a pipe dream any more. For the past number of years, tools gave developers the ability to cross over into the designer domain, using programming languages. Now, the pendulum is swinging the other way.
We have some goodies to give away, so don't miss the raffle. Please RSVP so I know how much food to offer.
